Early on, he was inspired by the country’s beauty and culture. As a result, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management. This education combined theory with practical knowledge, helping him understand travelers’ needs and expectations.

After graduating, Rojesh Lal Shrestha worked closely with clients across Nepal. He guided travelers through popular cities as well as hidden gems. During this time, he learned the importance of personalized service and attention to detail. He discovered that thoughtful planning makes every trip memorable. Over the years, he gained expertise in adventure tourism, cultural experiences, and eco-tourism. Together, these skills shaped a holistic approach that emphasizes authenticity and customer satisfaction.

Before founding Odyssey Treks, Rojesh Lal Shrestha traveled extensively with clients. He explored remote trails, mountain passes, and culturally rich villages. Born in Solukhumbu, the gateway to some of Nepal’s most iconic trekking routes, Mr. Karma Sherpa began his career 20 years ago as a porter. From the very beginning, he showed remarkable determination, resilience, and a deep love for the mountains. Through carrying loads across rugged terrain, he built physical endurance and gained firsthand insight into the challenges and joys of trekking in Nepal.

As a result of his hard work and dedication, Karma quickly became a trekking guide. Over the years, he has led countless trekking groups. Moreover, he guides tourists of all experience levels—from first-time trekkers to seasoned adventurers—through Nepal’s breathtaking landscapes. His expertise ranges from short and moderate treks to demanding high-altitude expeditions in the Everest and Annapurna regions. In addition, he has managed mountaineering groups, ensuring safety and a smooth travel experience for every client.

Karma’s success as a guide comes from more than technical skill. Furthermore, his exceptional leadership, patience, and ability to connect with people set him apart. He creates a supportive and enjoyable environment for trekkers, which is why clients often praise his professionalism and friendly nature.

Today, Karma serves as the Team Leader at Odyssey Treks. He oversees trekking operations, mentors junior guides, and ensures that every expedition meets the company’s high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Thanks to his years of experience, passion for Nepal’s mountains, and commitment to excellent service, he is an invaluable member of the team. Rajib Kumar Khanal leads the digital marketing efforts at Odyssey Treks, with a clear focus on expanding the company’s brand presence across global markets. He is dedicated to attracting both domestic and international travelers by implementing effective digital strategies. Rajib manages the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns, utilizing advanced analytics tools to promote Odyssey Treks and its services to a broader audience.

Mrs. Sharmila Shrestha is an energetic and experienced account officer of Odyssey Treks. She is a valuable member of our team who understands the company’s values and vision. Since 2019 she has been a part of the Odyssey Treks family and is enthusiastically working as an Account officer. She is responsible for the overall financial accounting and records of the organization. She has a key role in maintaining the day-to-day financial records of the company.

Mr. Bijay Shrestha has a long experience in the field of Information Technology and is currently working with Odyssey Treks as IT Manager. In today’s technology era, his role is very important to take the company to a higher level.

Bijay Shrestha is like a behind-the-scenes hero whose work is not physically visible but plays a vital role for the company. As an IT manager, his responsibilities for the company are computer programs, software development, and computer network security.

Mr. Gyanendra Karki is a professional senior tour guide. He has been working in this profession for the past 20 years. With long experience, Gyanendra has led many tourist groups to different parts of Nepal. Gyanendra Karki, who has good knowledge of Nepal’s history, culture, tradition, and religion, is a lifetime member of the Tour Guide Association of Nepal. Able to handle small to large groups well, he is an important member of Odyssey Treks.

Born in the Everest region of Nepal, Dami Sherpa has spent his life trekking and exploring the Himalayas. From an early age, he grew up among the mountains and developed a deep love and respect for the trails, culture, and natural beauty. As a result, his early experiences gave him the skills and knowledge to navigate Nepal’s diverse and challenging terrain with confidence.

Dami has trekked extensively across Nepal, including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu, and Mustang. Because of this experience, he plans safe and memorable trekking itineraries for adventurers of all skill levels. Whether leading a classic Everest Base Camp trek or a remote adventure in Mustang, he ensures trekkers enjoy the beauty and culture of Nepal.

As a licensed professional trekking guide, Dami has led numerous trekking groups across the Himalayas. Moreover, he guides trekkers with energy, patience, and encouragement. He also helps them overcome the physical and mental challenges of high-altitude trekking while prioritizing safety and comfort.

Dami has completed several training programs organized by the Ministry of Tourism of Nepal. Through these programs, he strengthened his skills in mountaineering, first aid, environmental care, and sustainable tourism. Consequently, he applies this knowledge on every trek to maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and responsibility.

With decades of experience in the Himalayas, Dami Sherpa is more than a trekking guide. In addition, he is a passionate ambassador for Nepal’s mountains. Therefore, he helps trekkers from around the world discover the adventure, culture, and natural wonders of the Himalayas.

Born in the Solukhumbu district of the Everest region, Ngawanuri Sherpa is our company’s experienced professional licensed climbing guide and trekking leader. With more than 15 years of experience in this field, he has successfully climbed many peaks. He has good experience in climbing Mera Peak, Island Peak, Lobuche Peak, Pisang Peak, Tharpu Chuli Peak, Yala Peak, etc. Capable of handling small to large groups well, Ngawanuri Sherpa is also a key person of the company.

Born in Solukhumbu District (Everest Region), Mr. Rinji Sherpa is one of our company’s experienced trekking guide. He has more than 15 years of experience working in this field. Having been working as a trekking guide for a long time, he has a good knowledge of trekking routes in all region of Nepal. He is known as a special guide to Odyssey Treks based on his ability to handle small to large groups well.

Born in the lap of Everest, Pemba Sherpa has been involved in the tourism sector for 12 years. He has become an experienced and trained trekking guide by participating in many training programs organized by the Ministry of Tourism of Nepal. He has conducted numerous groups in Nepal’s Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu and Mustang areas and has a good knowledge of mountains and trails.
