Born in the Everest region of Nepal, Dami Sherpa has spent his life trekking and exploring the Himalayas. From an early age, he grew up among the mountains and developed a deep love and respect for the trails, culture, and natural beauty. As a result, his early experiences gave him the skills and knowledge to navigate Nepal’s diverse and challenging terrain with confidence.
Dami has trekked extensively across Nepal, including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu, and Mustang. Because of this experience, he plans safe and memorable trekking itineraries for adventurers of all skill levels. Whether leading a classic Everest Base Camp trek or a remote adventure in Mustang, he ensures trekkers enjoy the beauty and culture of Nepal.
As a licensed professional trekking guide, Dami has led numerous trekking groups across the Himalayas. Moreover, he guides trekkers with energy, patience, and encouragement. He also helps them overcome the physical and mental challenges of high-altitude trekking while prioritizing safety and comfort.
Dami has completed several training programs organized by the Ministry of Tourism of Nepal. Through these programs, he strengthened his skills in mountaineering, first aid, environmental care, and sustainable tourism. Consequently, he applies this knowledge on every trek to maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and responsibility.
With decades of experience in the Himalayas, Dami Sherpa is more than a trekking guide. In addition, he is a passionate ambassador for Nepal’s mountains. Therefore, he helps trekkers from around the world discover the adventure, culture, and natural wonders of the Himalayas.
