You start your Nepal Cultural Tour with Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Bhaktapur sightseeing inside the Kathmandu Valley. These three places are on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Pashupatinath is the largest Hindu temple in Nepal and the holiest place for Shiva devotees. Another place is the Bouddhanath stupa which is the largest stupa in the world and a sacred place for Buddhists. And another place is the Bhaktapur Durbar square which is a masterpiece of ancient art.

Drive to Chitwan, Pokhara and Nagarkot

On the next day of the Nepal Cultural Tour, you drive to Chitwan. In Chitwan, you get a chance to encounter various animals up close while going on a jungle safari inside the national park. The Tharu community is a tribal of Chitwan. The traditional dance of this community is one of the main attractions.

Another destination of the Nepal Cultural Tour is the beautiful Pokhara, the city of lakes. Pokhara offers spectacular views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, and Dhaulagiri mountains. You visit Nagarkot which is a beautiful hill station near Kathmandu. The hill station offers you a magnificent view of the mountain range of Ganesh Himal, Lantang, Gaurishankar, and other peaks as well as it is famous for its sunrise view.

Have just returned from my fourth trip to Nepal and as always Odyssey Treks organized everything superbly. We visited Makalu relatively late in the season and were rewarded with empty trails and amazing weather. Karma was as entertaining, friendly, and informative as ever along with Ang Dawa Sherpa who together made the three weeks perfect.

They also organized a few days to Helambu at short notice as I had some time spare, all done easily and professionally. Thanks for the company both and I will be back again. I cannot recommend Odyssey highly enough as a genuinely friendly, locally based company that provides not only unforgettable experiences but also great service at a very reasonable cost.
